Hello Resident,
As we approach a busy evening of seasonal celebrations, we'd like to remind everyone to be considerate of all members of our community. While many families enjoy taking part in doorstep activities, some residents may prefer not to be disturbed. If you are out and about this evening, please keep the following in mind:
• Only approach homes that appear to welcome visitors, and respect any signs requesting no callers.
• Be mindful of your neighbours by keeping noise levels down, avoiding late visits, and accepting a polite refusal.
• Stay safe by remaining with friends or family, being supervised where appropriate, and wearing visible clothing when walking near roads.
• Show respect to others. Vandalism, nuisance behaviour, intimidation, or throwing items at people or property can cause distress and may result in police involvement.
Let's work together to ensure everyone can enjoy a safe, positive, and respectful evening. For non-emergency matters, visit www.gmp.police.uk, use Live Chat, or call 101. In an emergency, always call 999. Thank you for your cooperation.
